We’d been meaning to visit for a while, and on our first visit we definitely weren’t disappointed. Alex was the perfect host, kind, knowledgable, welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. We had three courses and each was perfect. The food is freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and tasted amazing. If you want authentic Italian food and a great dining experience then this is the place to go. We will definitely be going back. Fabulous Experience!

We celebrated our Diamond Wedding Anniversary with a few friends at Basilico last night, and again it was brilliant in every aspect. Alex attended courteously to our every requirement. Nothing was rushed, and every dish and drink were thoroughly enjoyed by us all. My Scallops Provencal and later, Chilli Tiger Prawns were exceptional and although theres a very extensive menu of choice options, I'll probably have same again next time - soon I hope. Amazing experience!

We have been to the restaurant on a number of occasions the food is still excellent! We recommended the restaurant for a birthday celebration and the whole experience was wonderful. We all had different dishes, but they were all very tasty. I had the monkfish and it was cooked to perfection. Sea bass, steak, veal, salmon and spaghetti were ordered by the rest of the party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. All staff were great, but it was Alex who mainly served us and he was very attentive and nothing was a problem. Our family, which included the “birthday girl” thoroughly enjoyed their time there and mentioned that they also loved the ambience and would definitely visit again. Thank you Vahid to you and your staff for giving us another wonderful experience at your restaurant

Great Find!

We went to Basilico on a Saturday evening a couple of weeks ago, without a booking, but the restaurant wasn’t too busy and was able to cater for us. We were both tempted by the specials. I had a tuna steak dish which came with king prawns, capers, olives and cherry tomatoes on a bed of linguine and with a touch of lemon, garlic and cream. My husband opted for a veal dish which came with peppers, onions and tomatoes, and a side of potatoes and vegetables. Both meals were outstanding. We decided to go back the following Saturday.

Family birthday

Food & service was really good. We arrived early & it wasn’t open, they didn’t leave us stood outside they invited us in & seated us. No pressure to order we was given plenty of time to choose, drinks were served & then we ordered. The salmon was amazing, the linguine basilica was full of fresh seafood, we asked for chilli oil to go with the pizza & they made it fresh for us. I can’t fault our experience, I will highly recommended & will definitely eat here again.
